Dose Volume Histogram (DVH) vs. Overlap Volume Histogram (OVH)
A shape relationship descriptor, the overlap volume histogram (OVH), quantifies the spatial configuration between an
organ at risk (OAR) and a primary tumor volume (PTV), or target. Here, the OVH is used to compare the spatial
configurations of the OARs and targets of a new patient with those of previous patients in the Oncospace database.
